Marketing Zero-Exchange Shrimp Hatcheries

On July 26, 2011, I interviewed the management team at Scientific Associates, LLC, an Indiantown, Florida, USA, company, that quietly, over the last three years, has developed a pilot-scale, zero-exchange shrimp hatchery. To do that, it developed some new technology and turbo charged some older technology. Working with two indigenous, penaeid species, it built a small, zero-exchange shrimp farm to test the postlarvae (PLs) from its hatchery. And now it's ready to market its zero-exchange hatchery technology to shrimp farmers worldwide.
